About this role:

Programmed requires an experienced Home Care Assistant to assist our aged care clients throughout Canberra.

This position involves assisting clients with showering, grooming, personal care, and light domestic tasks within their own homes in the community. Services are provided between Mon-Fri, and you will visit multiple clients in different locations between 8am and 4pm. Rosters are ongoing, and we commit to filling the days and hours you can provide.

You will be paid for the full shift, including an industry-leading KM allowance for travel between clients.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a comparable role
  • Be able to provide 2 professional references from paid employment
  • Your own reliable vehicle
  • Current drivers licence, car registration, and insurance
  • National Police Clearance Check (completed within the last 12 months)
  • Passport and/or birth certificate (proof of Australian Working Rights)
  • Working with Vulnerable people clearance
  • Evidence of Covid Vaccination (essential for work in the aged care sector)
