The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Residential Draftsperson to join our drafting team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in creating architectural drawings for our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Producing accurate and detailed architectural drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Collaborating with our sales team to understand and meet client requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with Building Codes, relevant Australian standards, and design guidelines.
- Providing support to the drafting team and contributing to the overall success of the division.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant Australian drafting experience in the residential industry.
- Certificate IV in Architectural Drafting as a minimum or Associate Diploma in Architectural Drafting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Sound knowledge of Building Codes, relevant Australian standards, and design guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Proactive and eager to take on new challenges.
