About the Job

We are seeking a seasoned Transformation Lead to spearhead a critical payroll and HR systems modernization initiative.

  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for the payroll & HR systems transformation, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Coordinate interdependent projects (Kronos upgrade, Preceda to Dayforce migration, HR technology enhancements) and ensure successful delivery throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Oversee the development of business cases, financial models, and options analysis. Ensure program benefits are clearly defined, tracked, and realized.
  • Lead engagement with solution vendors, system integrators, and service providers to ensure delivery against agreed outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with senior executives, HR, Payroll, IT, and business leaders. Provide regular updates to steering committees and governance forums.
  • Establish program governance structures, manage risks, issues, and dependencies, and ensure compliance with organizational frameworks.
  • Oversee program resources, monitor costs, and ensure optimal utilization.
  • Champion organizational change, ensuring effective communication and adoption of new systems and processes across the business.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Program Manager leading complex HR/payroll system transformation initiatives.
  • Strong track record in delivering multi-project programs with significant business and technology impact.
  • Expertise in governance, program planning, and executive stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience managing vendors and external delivery partners.
  • Familiarity with Kronos, Preceda, and Dayforce is highly desirable.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in business case development and benefits tracking.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Able to work from home 3 days per week and occasionally travel to Brisbane as required.
