A unique opportunity has arisen to lead our public health and social wellbeing programs. As a strategic leader, you will provide cultural guidance across the organisation, ensuring services delivered are of high quality and culturally appropriate.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead primary health and wellbeing programs, ensuring cultural safety and responsiveness.
- Manage government funding contracts and reporting requirements.
- Provide leadership to program staff, ensuring professional development and high performance.
- Support governance and accountability processes, including finance and administration.
- Actively participate in strategic planning and continuous quality improvement.
- Build strong relationships with community, government, and stakeholders to advance Aboriginal health outcomes.
- Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Community Services, Health Administration, Business Management or related field.
- Extensive experience managing health programs in an Aboriginal community context.
- Strong knowledge of government funding processes and program management.
- Demonstrated cultural leadership and ability to engage Aboriginal communities.
- Proven people leadership, with the ability to motivate and support staff.
- Strong governance, financial management, and compliance experience.
- High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- The Package:
- $130,000 - $150,000 salary.
- Superannuation included.
- Full-time, permanent role based in Bourke, NSW.
- Relocation assistance available.
