Main Responsibilities

  • Form strong relationships with clients across your assigned territory, providing expert guidance on how to leverage our Data Intelligence Platform to achieve their business goals.
  • Operate as a trusted advisor, helping clients navigate complex issues related to architecture, design, and implementation, ensuring seamless adoption of our platform.
  • Scale best practices within your field, authoring reference architectures, how-to guides, and demo applications to support customers and grow the Databricks community in your region through workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
  • Pursue ongoing education and training to maintain and expand your technical expertise, positioning yourself as a subject matter authority within the industry.

What We're Looking For

  • Candidates with prior experience in technical sales, capable of engaging with customers, challenging questions, guiding clear outcomes, and effectively communicating technical and value propositions.
  • Strong networkers with a proven track record of building internal partnerships with account executives and teams.
  • Proficient in core programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, with a willingness to learn and apply fundamental knowledge of Spark.
  • Demonstrated expertise in big data analytics technologies, including hands-on experience with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platforms.
  • Ability to identify, scope, and deliver complex solution architecture designs to diverse audiences, showcasing versatility in communication styles and technical depth.

Compensation Package

The estimated salary range for this role is AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, which includes opportunities for career growth, professional development, and work-life balance.
