Job Description
As a Hospital Pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing and supplying medication and pharmacy products to patients. You will also coordinate patient medication requirements for inpatient stays, day infusions, and discharges.

Responsibilities
  • Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products to patients.
  • Coordinate patient medication requirements for inpatient stays, day infusions, and discharges.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients.
  • Support patients, carers, hospital staff, and associated employees.
  • Educate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection, and the proper use of medicines.


Essential Requirements
  • General registration with AHPRA, with no restrictions on practice.
  • Australian working rights, valid for at least the duration of the contract. Minimum 12-month working rights required for permanent roles.
  • Personal Indemnity insurance.


Desirable Skills & Experience
  • Background in hospital pharmacy.
  • Experience in clinical pharmacy.
