About the role: As a personal support worker, you will directly be supporting our clients who have acquired spinal cord injuries with daily tasks in their homes. There are morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts available.

Salary: Based on industry standards and location, the estimated annual salary range for this role is $70,000 - $85,000.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting clients with transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs, using hoists when required.
  • Grooming, bathing, dressing, and dental hygiene.
  • Personal care, including toileting, bladder, and bowel management.
  • Basic wound care and self-medication.
  • Domestic support such as meal preparation, light household duties, and laundry.
  • Community access such as driving to appointments and social activities
Requirements
  • You are an excellent listener who can communicate authentically and honestly and are able to work independently.
  • Can work a fixed fortnightly roster.
  • A current driver's licence and a reliable vehicle.
  • A smartphone device
  • Ability to obtain a Blue and NDIS screening card.
