Role Overview
Norwest Private Hospital, a leading provider of private healthcare in Australia, has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Educator to join its team as a Clinical Development Coordinator.
About the Position
This is a minimum 4 days part-time or full-time position that requires leadership and management skills. As the Clinical Development Coordinator, you will work closely with the Director of Nursing, participating in various committees and working parties, and actively contribute to the Healthscope Education cluster.
Responsibilities
- Plan hospital-wide education and support for clinical and support services education
- Coordinate the hospital education team, student program, graduate RN/EN nurse program, hospital-wide orientation, and mandatory training programs
- Act as the learning management system site administrator and report area-specific and hospital-wide compliance
Requirements
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Recent relevant and extensive experience in an acute care setting
- Recent education experience in an adult learning environment
- Post-registration clinical and education qualification in a specialty area/education/management
- Certificate IV - Workplace Training and Assessment
- Demonstrated effective leadership skills, including highly developed communication, problem-solving, managing people, coaching, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Ability to coordinate, develop, deliver, and evaluate education and training programs using multimodalities
- Advanced computer skills
- Understanding of the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and the Education evidence/requirements for Short Notice Assessments
Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a chance to work with a leading healthcare provider in Australia.
