Job Overview

The primary objective of this role is to secure lubricant sales and support depot operations.

About the Position

You will report directly to the TAS Operations Manager, delivering exceptional customer service, managing sales pipelines, and supporting the efficient operation of the Launceston Depot.

Strong relationships with customers will be built while promoting lubricant sales, working closely with depot and sales managers to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient outcomes across all areas of the business.

A successful person in this role will have a natural drive for sales, confidence to engage customers, and a strong operational mindset to manage logistics, stock control, and warehouse processes.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver professional customer service and manage customer orders including counter sales
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying new sales opportunities
  • Promote lubricant sales and provide support to depot operations
  • Manage stock accurately, including receipting, dispatching, and reporting variances
  • Ensure compliance with safety, financial, and company procedures, including end-of-month processes
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business goals
  • Perform warehouse management duties
  • Engage with customers directly, conduct site visits, and deliver products as required
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or depot/warehouse operations (desired)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in computer software, particularly CRM systems or similar
  • Strong attention to detail with good problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to safety and compliance procedures
  • Team player with a proactive and positive attitude
  • Forklift Licence (Preferred - Assistance can be provided if required)
