Job Role

Care and Support Assistant

This role involves delivering high-quality personal, social, and emotional care and support to residents in accordance with our values.

To achieve this, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with activities such as showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming while maintaining the dignity and privacy of each resident.
  • Providing assistance with walking, using mobility aids, or transferring between different positions.
  • Observing and reporting any changes in the resident's health or behavior.
  • Supporting residents with their dietary requirements and assisting them in eating.
  • Keeping accurate records of care provided, observations, and any changes in the resident's condition.
  • Collaborating with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for our residents.
Requirements

Applicants must possess:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification.
  • Adaptability, passion, and a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
