We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our team at Leidos Australia, supporting the Defence Digital Modernisation program. Key Responsibilities- Design and implement network infrastructure in a large data centre environment, applying engineering best practices and adhering to security design principles.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and deploy network security measures, driven by the network security design.
- Produce detailed network design specifications and schematics for project delivery.
- Analyse and develop network designs, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Develop and revise network technical documentation, maintaining high levels of technical expertise in areas such as Nexus Switches, Palo Alto & Cisco ASA Firewalls, and Citrix Netscaler Load balancers.
- 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer, with a strong background in routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and Nexus/UCS data centre technologies.
- Cisco CCNP certified in Enterprise core, Data Centre Technologies, and CCNA in Security or equivalent Palo Alto Certification: PCNSA.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with solid organisational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple concurrent activities, and understanding and managing priorities, dependencies, and risk.
- Australian Citizenship and a current NV1 Clearance as a minimum, with the ability to obtain a clearance of NV.
