Cloud Integration Tester

The Australian Electoral Commission is seeking an Enterprise Integration Tester to join the Funding and Disclosure Reform Program within the Systems and Platforms Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • We are looking for a skilled professional to design and execute integration test plans for APIs, data pipelines, and Azure services.
  • You will test CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes for efficiency, reliability, and traceability.
  • A strong configuration management skill set is required to manage dev, test, and prod environments ensuring real-world replication.
  • This role requires expertise in scripting and automation skills with PowerShell, ARM, Bicep, and YAML.
  • You will implement monitoring solutions to track performance, availability, and security.
  • We need someone who can integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines including SAST and DAST.
  • Collaboration with developers, analysts, testers, and stakeholders to align DevOps with program goals is essential.
  • Maintaining documentation of test cases, results, deployment processes, and configs for auditability is crucial.

This role requires a minimum of Baseline security clearance. The ideal candidate will have experience in integration testing across cloud and hybrid environments, as well as strong knowledge of SAST and DAST practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software development or related field.
  • Strong understanding of integration testing principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies such as Azure and AWS.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
