Fashion Trend Analyst

The Commercial team is focused on delivering the future of fashion through a customer-centric platform. Our goal is to spot trends and deliver sell-out assortments across womenswear.
We are seeking an Assistant Category Buyer to report to the Category Buyer and support the development of a data-led range that moves fast from discovery to launch. This role involves tracking market, social, and customer signals, supporting department strategy and budget planning, and partnering with key brands and emerging labels to drive category growth in line with our commercial strategy.
About the Role:
- Drive company-wide strategies and objectives.
- Assist in purchasing and procurement to land the right product at the right price at the right time.
- Monitor inventory levels to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Evaluate vendor performance and assist in the selection and deactivation process.
- Negotiate favourable terms and conditions for contracts for both commission-based and OTB-based vendors.
- Identify vendor supply chain challenges through regular quality assurance reviews.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure timely deliveries.
- Resolve issues or discrepancies with orders, invoices, or deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
- Manage vendor administration to ensure accuracy.
- Analyse data, interpret trends, and propose informed decisions based on data.
- Develop relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
