Job Description

**About the Role**

IPAR is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Rehabilitation Consultant to join our occupational rehabilitation team. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a critical role in helping individuals return to work after injury or illness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of clients and provide clinical case management services to support their return to work.
  • Apply your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes and develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
  • Work collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Complete a variety of assessments using your clinical and discipline-specific allied health skills, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing.
  • Full Registration Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Strong communication skills to build and develop relationships.
  • Excellent time management skills - ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment.
  • A desire to problem-solve with the confidence to be innovative, use your initiative, and achieve results.
  • A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and the associated health benefits.
  • Energy and drive to grow our services.
  • A current driver's license and access to your own vehicle.
