Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Stocking Team Member to join our team at Costco Wholesale Epping. As a Stocking Team Member, you will play a critical role in maintaining a well-stocked and organized warehouse, ensuring that our members have an exceptional shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stock and straighten merchandise on shelves, ensuring that products are facing the correct direction and are easily accessible to members.
  • Clear and clean aisles, removing any debris or obstacles that may hinder member shopping experience.
  • Assist members with loading large items into their carts and direct them to products.
  • Communicate with supervisors and managers to determine merchandising plans and priorities.
  • Use manual pallet jacks to move and position pallets of merchandise, and stack product from partial pallets to full pallets.
  • Use a box knife to cut boxes for display and accessibility of product, and wrap or tie and tag pallets to be returned to the steel.
  • Mark product numbers on unmarked items using a marking gun, and observe and ensure correct product signage.
  • Set up display models, assembling as necessary, and modify displays for safe handling by members.
  • Pull loose cardboard and slip-sheets from the floor, clear sales floor of debris, and sweep.
  • Operate the cardboard baler and trash compactor, and rewrap loose product using a shrink-wrap machine.
Non-Essential Functions and Tasks
  • Assist with front-end duties as necessary.
  • Assist other areas in the department as necessary.
  • Assist in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
  • Create computer-generated signs.
