Job Description\

Civil retail sales assistants and delivery drivers play a pivotal role in facilitating the access of essential products to engineers, project managers, and other tradespeople engaged in major projects.

Key responsibilities include delivering parts and products to customers using company vehicles, managing stock control activities, and providing exceptional customer service and product information. A typical day may involve:

  • Delivering parts and products to customers
  • Pick packing and stock control management
  • Maintaining shop floor displays and ensuring accurate product information is provided
  • Offering outstanding customer service and product information support

A civil retail sales assistant/delivery driver should possess previous experience in delivery driving, retail, or customer service roles, with proficiency in computer usage and a willingness to learn new systems. They should also hold a valid driver's licence and be open to working various shifts, including weekends. The ideal candidate will appreciate helping customers both in person and over the phone, while being prepared to develop their career within our network or head office.
