At Goodstart Early Learning, we are committed to fostering a love of learning and growth in the children under our care. As a Child Development Nutrition Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the culinary experiences of our young friends.

We pay highly competitive wages, at least $25.50 per hour above the national award rates.

  • Maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic.
  • Use your creativity and organisational skills to plan the menu and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director.
  • Ensure the safety of children by preparing meals to account for special dietary requirements and allergies.

In this role, you will work closely with our Centre Director to develop healthy meal options that cater to the diverse needs of our children. Your passion for nutrition and commitment to quality will be instrumental in creating an environment that supports the well-being of our little ones.

You will need:

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare setting.
  • Current Victoria Working with Children Check.
