About Uniting Starrett Lodge

Nestled on the edge of a serene bushland reserve in Hamlyn Terrace, our aged care home provides a peaceful and happy environment for our residents. With 4 separate households and a Memory Support Unit for people living with dementia, we offer a range of services to support their independence and quality of life.

About This Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Aged Care Worker to join our team. As a permanent part-time employee, you will have flexible hours to suit your needs and work closely with our residents to provide care, companionship, and emotional support.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily living assistance such as showering, personal hygiene, dressing, help at mealtimes, and general mobility.
  • Assist with medication and simple wound dressings.
  • Support residents in community-based recreational and social activities.

Requirements

  • Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or Individual Support (or equivalent qualification).
  • Previous experience in aged or community care (or passion to begin your career in aged care if studying or recently qualified).
  • Adaptability, empathy, and resourcefulness.
