Westpac is seeking a DevOps professional to join our Technology Digital team. This role involves designing, implementing and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for efficient software delivery.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing containerisation solutions using Docker and Kubernetes, as well as supporting cloud migration projects. They will also automate configuration management, deployment and orchestration tasks, monitor and optimise system performance, reliability and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable, reliable and secure infrastructure using CHEF.
  • Develop and maintain containerisation solutions for .NET applications.
  • Support and manage on-premises to cloud migration projects.
  • Automate configuration management, deployment and orchestration tasks.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in DevOps or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud) and on-premises to cloud migration.
  • Proficiency in containerisation technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with .NET application development and deployment.
