Community Arts Gallery Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a gallery, including managing permanent collections, artworks for exhibitions, and the city's public art portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to promote community engagement with art and creative opportunities.
- Curate the city's art collections, including public art, and oversee records management, condition monitoring, and security of collection items.
- Establish and grow a schedule of community art workshops and associated exhibitions that promote access and inclusion to the arts.
- Oversee the daily operations of a visitor centre to support and enhance the city's vision as a desirable tourist destination.
Requirements:
Applicants should have specialist knowledge in the care and handling of art, plus extensive experience in developing and delivering arts-related programs. The ideal candidate will be professional, motivated, and dynamic, with excellent leadership skills.
