East Coast Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned risk management professional to spearhead our underwriting initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement cutting-edge risk assessment strategies, leveraging data-driven insights and innovative technology to inform pricing and coverage decisions.
- Establish a strong presence in the light-nondamitted market by cultivating strategic relationships and driving business growth.
- Analyze and approve policy modifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines.
- Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards, maintaining expertise in E&S state insurance laws and ISO rules within the designated territory.
- Maintain open communication channels and foster collaborative relationships with team members and partners.
- Monitor portfolio performance through regular reports, audits, and inspections.
- Support marketing efforts to promote the company's products and services.
- Participate in special projects and assignments as needed.
- 5+ years of experience in habitational underwriting/insurance, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong knowledge of habitational insurance products and principles.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
- Retail agency relationship experience a plus.
- Candidates should possess a unique blend of skills, including curiosity, hard work, self-accountability, positivity, humility, and a sense of humor.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.
- The ideal candidate will be located in the Eastern territory, with a deep understanding of the East Coast insurance landscape.
