Draftsperson

Monadelphous is seeking a skilled Draftsperson to join our team in Mount Thorley. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed technical drawings and designs for our projects. Your expertise in AutoDesk software applications, specifically Inventor, ReCap, and Vault, will be essential in delivering high-quality results. You will work closely with our engineers and project managers to ensure that all designs meet the required standards and are delivered on time. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including maintenance and brownfields upgrade projects for the mining sector. Your strong ability to read, interpret, and draft engineering drawings in CAD to AS1100 will be a valuable asset to our team. • Creating accurate and detailed technical drawings and designs for our projects
• Working closely with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet required standards
• Delivering high-quality results using AutoDesk software applications
• Collaborating with the design team to ensure all designs are accurate and complete
• Reviewing and revising designs to ensure they meet company standards

What you will bring:

• Relevant tertiary qualification such as an Associate Degree or Diploma
• Experience working in a similar position, servicing the maintenance/brownfields upgrade projects for the mining sector
• Experience with workshop manufacturing of structural and mechanical steel work, along with site assembly
• Working knowledge of AutoDesk software applications, specifically Inventor, ReCap, and Vault
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and draft engineering drawings in CAD to AS1100
• Strong ability to manage time to achieve tight deadlines
• Well-developed communication skills
• Proven ability in continuous improvement and successful delivery methods
