Opportunities now exist for appropriately skilled people who are keen to join the Monadelphous family and grow with us in this region.Monadelphous is seeking experienced Draftsperson and Designers for a Permanent role in Mount Thorley.The role of Draftsperson, will see you working in our Mt Thorley office, Monday to Friday, nominally 40hrs a week with over time available and uplift applicable. Your well-developed interpersonal skills will assist you in building effective relationships both internally and externally. You will be flexible with a team orientated approach to work and a commitment to process development and continuous improvement. Your time management skills will promote your ability to manage multiple aspects of your work concurrently Some key responsibilities include; Completing drafting and technical drawings Converting 3D laser scan to fabrication drawings Preparation and delivery of engineering drawings for allocated resources projects Preparation of shop layouts Attending site for measurements, verification and scoping, including use of our 3D laser scanning equipment Creating concept drawings Completing material take-offs and preparing cutting lists Reviewing standards and best practices Why Us? What you will bring Relevant tertiary qualification such as an Associate Degree or Diploma Experience working in a similar position, servicing the maintenance/brownfields upgrade projects for the mining sector Experience with workshop manufacturing of structural and mechanical steel work, along with site assembly. Working knowledge of AutoDesk software applications, specifically Inventor, ReCap and Vault.
