Corporate and Financial Services Lawyer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Corporate and Financial Services Lawyer to join our team. This role offers a diverse mix of corporate and financial services work, with a focus on primary sectors in the financial services market.

About the Role:
  • Support the delivery of high-quality, practical advice across areas such as Chapter 7 (Financial Services regime) and Part 5 C (managed investment schemes) of the Corporations Act
  • Provide expertise in financial services licensing, compliance, governance, and disclosure
  • Advise clients on fundraising and licensing matters, emerging fintech and digital assets such as crypto, and leading edge market developments such as ESG and greenwashing

This role offers exposure to regulatory frameworks and regulators in the financial markets, opportunities to work directly with clients, and contribute to our innovative approach to service delivery—leveraging technology to provide efficient, tailored legal solutions.

Requirements:
  • Admitted to practice as a lawyer in Australia or NZ
  • Genuinely interested in corporate and financial services regulation
  • Keen to develop expertise in banking, payments, funds, and the investment sector including funds and financial planners
  • Comfortable working across corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters
  • A collaborative team player with strong communication skills
  • Commercially minded, curious, and willing to learn in a high-performing team environment
