Job Role Summary

The Maintenance Planning and Control Specialist will ensure the development, endorsement, approval, and communication of all plans and schedules for maintenance within an operational area.

This role involves ensuring compliance to 1SAP work management processes, delivery of all work management plans and schedules, chairing the weekly shared resource leveling meeting, and monitoring and reporting meeting attendance as per 1SAP process requirements.

The successful candidate will also support the governance of the 1SAP processes at the operation and lead a commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility, and sustainable development through personal behaviors and leadership.

About Your Capabilities

  • You will have experience and demonstrate capability in excellent negotiation, influencing, and persuasion skills.
  • Able to effectively and creatively challenge people, situations, and current thinking.
  • Strong understanding in maintenance planning principles.
  • Previous experience in maintenance planning.
  • Experience in vendor assessment and due diligence processes when selecting suppliers.
  • Experienced in vendor management processes to ensure alignment with supply processes.
  • At least 10 years' experience in a mining or related industry.
  • At least 5 years' experience at a leadership level.
  • Ability to consult and collaborate with others to influence positive outcomes.

Qualifications and Education

Preferable - tertiary qualification in a relevant degree such as engineering or business. Experience in maintenance planning in continuous operations and experience in coordination and management of contractors preferred.
