Job Opportunity at UNSW Law & Justice

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher to join our team at the University of New South Wales Law & Justice Faculty.

Role Overview

This is a full-time or part-time (3-5 days a week) fixed-term contract position, with the possibility of a fractional appointment at 0.8 or 0.6 FTE.

The successful candidate will contribute to the research effort of the UNSW Law & Justice Faculty by undertaking independent and team research on the Australian Research Council (ARC) Laureate Research Program entitled The Financial Data Revolution: Seizing the Benefits, Controlling the Risks.

Working closely with Scientia Professor Ross Buckley, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a leading team of researchers in the field of law and finance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake independent and team research on the ARC Laureate Research Program
  • Contribute to the development of research proposals and publications
  • Collaborate with the research team to achieve project goals
  • Develop and maintain a strong research profile
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A PhD in Law, economics, finance, political science, or a related field
  • Equivalent research and/or professional experience
  • Strong research capacity and experience in exploring the interactions between law and policy
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
