Job Title:

Maintenance Technician

  • Key Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of plant and equipment. This includes ensuring the smooth operation of automated systems and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • A full Electrical license with experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Experience with PLCs and automation systems
  • Strong communication and reporting skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

Requirements

  • Effectively prioritize activities, responding to breakdowns and undertaking preventative maintenance
  • Install wire and conduit for newly installed and existing equipment such as conveyors, programmable controllers, converting and corrugating machinery
  • Replace faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches & motors, position sensing devices such as proximity switch timers, scanners, and photo electric devices
  • Diagnose and repair/replace faulty electronic components
