Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at The Yiros Shop in Berrinba.

As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, including supervising and managing employees, training and development, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve outstanding results
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences for our customers
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and managing employees, including juniors, to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant
  • Training and development of all staff to achieve outstanding results
  • Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to employees
  • Trialing and training new employees to ensure they are equipped to perform their roles effectively
  • Monitoring store performance and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Rostering, inventory management, ordering, and reporting
  • Handling customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Running a drive-thru service, including food preparation and cash handling
  • Cleaning and maintaining the store to high standards

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Food Safety Certificate - I'm Alert Food Safety Course (free online)
  • Working rights - passport and visa grant for international workers
  • RSA Certificate to be obtained within 30 days of commencing employment
