Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Hospitality Team Member to join our team at Murramarang Resort. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences for our guests.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to kick-start your hospitality career in a casual role with flexible work hours over a 7-day roster. You will have the chance to work collaboratively as part of a busy team, supporting the Kitchen team to deliver consistently high-quality meals by providing non-cooking duties in a kitchen or food preparation area.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake general cleaning duties within a kitchen or food preparation area and scullery
  • Cleaning of cooking and general utensils used in a kitchen and restaurant
  • Assist colleagues who are cooking including assembling and preparing ingredients
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A great attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team
  • Genuine Interest in working in a commercial kitchen, preparing fresh produce
  • Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn and acquire new skills
  • An ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible attitude to work hours over a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays
