As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing quality care and support to our clients, empowering them to live their lives with dignity and respect. You will work one-on-one with customers, providing social and recreational support, domestic support, personal care and medication support, community access, and meal preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Empowering individuals with varying abilities to achieve their goals and aspirations
- Providing social and recreational support, domestic support, personal care and medication support, community access, and meal preparation
- Maintaining customer records and developing professional relationships with customers, families, caregivers, and key stakeholders
- Working independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality support services
Requirements:
- Certificate III Individual Support (preferred) or demonstrated experience working with people with varying abilities
- Australian drivers licence (minimum P2)
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive vehicle insurance
- First Aid Certificate or the ability to attain one
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or the ability to attain one
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module or the ability to complete training
- Working with Children Check (paid worker)
- Reliable smartphone
- Flexibility to work varied shifts
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Outlook and MS Word
