As an MC Driver with our Intermodal business unit, you will be responsible for driving our state-of-the-art fleet on an interstate route between Melbourne and Perth.

This role involves completing general freight deliveries, with a day run departing from Laverton North, VIC and making the round trip to Perth over a 6-day journey, with adequate rest breaks along the way. You will navigate thousands of kilometres each way, ensuring the safe and efficient transport of freight.

We are seeking an experienced driver who is passionate about long-distance travel and wants to make a difference in the world of logistics. If you have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to safety, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive to the commitment of Linfox Safety Standards at all times.
  • Ensure that Vision Zero is a daily focus.
  • Comply with the Linfox coupling & uncoupling procedures.
  • Daily prestart checks and ensure loads are restrained appropriately.
  • Fatigue management in line with BFM guidelines.
  • Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility principles and extensive knowledge of road transport legislation.
