The Maintenance Shutdown Planner plays a pivotal role in planning shutdowns for the Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) fleet. This involves coordinating and overseeing maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan all shutdown mechanical maintenance activities for the HME fleet.
  • Forecast major shut work and maintain preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Define labour requirements and source specialist contractor labour as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in maintenance planning for mine mobile plant equipment, preferably with Liebherr Excavator (600t+) experience.
  • Relevant trade qualification.
  • A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Experience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (MEX) or Enterprise Resource Planning system JDE is highly desirable.
  • Holding a current Standard 11 and QLD Driver's Licence.
