Job Title: Specialist Women's Health Consultant

This is a unique opportunity to work in the North Canberra Obstetrics and Gynaecology department as a highly skilled Specialist Women's Health Consultant.

Duties and Responsibilities:Monday
  • Gynaecology Clinic - delivering high-quality patient care with empathy and professionalism.
  • Birthing Suite - ensuring seamless labour and delivery experiences for expectant mothers.
Tuesday
  • Ward Rounds/Birthing Suite - conducting thorough ward rounds, providing expert medical advice, and managing patient care.
  • Antenatal Clinic - offering specialist antenatal care, addressing patient concerns, and promoting healthy pregnancy outcomes.
Wednesday
  • Gynaecology Clinic - providing expert gynaecological services, including diagnostic procedures and treatment options.
  • Antenatal Clinic - continuing to provide excellent antenatal care, focusing on patient education and support.
Thursday
  • Antenatal Clinic - delivering comprehensive antenatal care, addressing patient questions, and promoting well-being.
  • Birthing Suite - ensuring safe and efficient labour and delivery processes.
Friday
  • Ward Rounds/Birthing Suite - conducting regular ward rounds, reviewing patient progress, and implementing effective care plans.
  • Gynaecology Clinic - maintaining high standards of patient care, addressing complex gynaecological issues, and providing expert advice.

Additionally, you will be required to participate in on-call shifts, ensuring 24/7 coverage and rapid response to patient needs.
