Job Title: Assistant Director

Goodstart Early Learning is seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Director to join our team at our Penfield centre. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care.

About the Role:
  • Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
  • Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
  • Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence
  • Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
About Goodstart:

Goodstart Early Learning is Australia's largest early learning provider, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality education and care to children. Our Penfield centre is a 12-acre block in a rural market farming area, licensed for 85 children, catering to all early learning age groups from 6 weeks to 5 years.

Requirements:
  • A Diploma or bachelor's in early childhood education
  • Hold a current Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain one
  • Teachers Registration if applicable
  • Experience with leading and managing change within education, health, or community services
  • Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage
  • Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management
