Events Operations Manager Job DescriptionWe are proud to be partnering with an amazing family owned venue for events, functions, weddings and dining experiences. The Functions & Events Operations Manager will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing events ranging from corporate functions, conferences to weddings.Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organise, and execute functions and events, ensuring excellence in every detail.
  • Budget planning and financial management for each event, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial goals.
  • Conduct market research and stay informed about industry trends to ensure events remain cutting-edge and competitive.
  • Take an autonomous role in overseeing the end-to-end event management process, from conceptualization to execution.
  • Identify potential risks associated with events and develop contingency plans to mitigate.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and community organisations to ensure repeat business.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that encourages creativity and innovation.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing concerns promptly.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years' relevant experience in functions/events management.
  • Management experience (rosters/casual team members).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • A team player who thrives in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A strong passion for hands-on work and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to perform under pressure.
  • Engaging personality with effective computer, time management, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have full working rights in Australia.
