Release Coordinator Role Overview

We are seeking a junior Release Coordinator to join our Quality Assurance team, embodying our core values of Balance, Collaboration, Discovery, Respect, and Integrity.

A Day in the Life:

  • Manage the master monthly release spreadsheet.
  • Liaise with project teams to prepare releases for deployment by the Change Control team.
  • Review Jira versions for completeness at the end of each sprint cycle.
  • Update Jira to reflect current release status.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Development and Change Control teams, and customers.

This role involves working collaboratively to ensure timely and efficient delivery of software releases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating release planning and execution across multiple projects.
  • Developing and maintaining spreadsheets to track release progress.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve release-related issues.
  • Providing regular updates on release status to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Well-developed communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with spreadsheets and formulas (Google Sheets, Excel, etc).
  • Prior administrative and/or coordination support to software development teams (or similar project-based teams).
  • Demonstrated process improvement capability.
