About Our Enterprise Architecture Role:

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Lead Enterprise Infrastructure Engineer to lead and mentor a team of Infrastructure Analysts and Coordinators. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in VMware, AWS, and Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Infrastructure Analysts and Coordinators
  • Serve as the escalation point for advanced infrastructure issues
  • Oversee system availability and performance across test, pre-production, and production environments
  • Collaborate closely with security, application, and DevOps teams
  • Provide expert-level guidance on automation, cloud strategies, and infrastructure optimization
  • Manage monitoring tools and processes
  • Ensure adherence to ITIL-based processes for incident, problem, and change management
  • Lead stakeholder engagement to communicate infrastructure health, risks, and project updates
  • Oversee capacity management and cost control across both on-premise and cloud infrastructure

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Infrastructure Support, IT Operations, or a related field
  • Deep technical expertise in VMware, AWS, and Microsoft Azure
  • Strong scripting and automation proficiency (Terraform, Python, PowerShell, Bash)
  • Experience with Windows Server and Linux OS administration (RHEL, CentOS, Debian)
  • Familiarity with managing databases in infrastructure environments (Oracle, SQL)
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Nagios, Prometheus)
  • Solid understanding of ITIL frameworks; ITIL v4 certification is preferred
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage teams and communicate with stakeholders at all levels
