Seeking a Social Worker to Deliver Exceptional Care

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our mental health team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centred care to individuals with complex psychosocial needs.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing specialist social work services to patients and their families
  • Undertaking comprehensive psychosocial assessments to inform treatment plans
  • Leading complex discharge planning and advocacy efforts
  • Delivering psychoeducation to patients and families

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership in the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
  • Demonstrated experience or understanding of working with consumers with an acute mental illness or disorder
  • Understanding of the Mental Health Act 2007 and related registration
  • High level written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and interpersonal skills
