Key Role in Australian Open 2026 Tournament Setup
">We are seeking a reliable and skilled Infrastructure Labourer to play a crucial part in setting up and operating the tournament's temporary structures, kitchens, and service spaces. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and expand your skills in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
">Job Responsibilities:
">- Setup and Operation: Assist in the setup and bump-in of temporary structures, kitchens, back-of-house spaces, and dining venues.">
- Maintenance and Logistics: Move, load, and install commercial kitchen equipment, service counters, and furniture. Receive and distribute deliveries of gear, stock, and operational equipment across multiple locations.">
- Safety and Security: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized worksite at all times.">
Requirements:
">- Experience and Qualifications: Previous experience in site labouring, logistics, or event bump-in/bump-out. White Card qualified required.">
- Physical Demands: Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling, lifting, and moving heavy items.">
- Work Ethic: Reliable, hard-working, and thrive in fast-paced environments, following instructions clearly and working both independently and as part of a team.">
- Availability: Full-time availability (weekdays and some weekend days) from mid-November through to post-tournament pack-down in February.">
