Australian Open Event Labourer Positions

The Australian Open brings together a dynamic team to deliver an exceptional experience for attendees. We are seeking skilled Event Infrastructure Labourers to join our crew in Melbourne Park.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble and build kitchen infrastructure, including temporary restaurants
- Unload equipment and configure retail spaces across the venue
- Install owned and hired equipment across both temporary and permanent structures
- Move and place items as per floor plans
- E nsure all setups are ready for handover to the operational team
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the operational team that transforms Melbourne Park into a world-class food and beverage destination during the Australian Open. You will work closely with logistics and site operations teams to ensure everything is where it needs to be.
You will receive and distribute deliveries of gear, stock, and operational equipment across multiple locations.
You may also operate forklifts and other equipment if licensed and qualified. Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized worksite at all times is essential.
The Ideal Candidate:- Previous experience in site labouring, logistics, or event bump-in/bump-out
- White Card qualified required
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling, lifting, and moving heavy items
- Reliable, hard-working, and thrive in fast-paced environments, following instructions clearly and working both independently and as part of a team
