Transportation Opportunity

CEVA Ground Transport offers nationwide road freight services, including linehaul and Pick Up & Delivery (PUD), providing customers with improved service levels and flexibility.

Your Role:

We are seeking experienced drivers to join our QLD Casual Linehaul / Local Driver Pool, based out of Berrinba. As a casual ongoing position, we expect to offer regular work to dependable employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake depot-to-depot, direct and changeover runs
  • Perform bulk pickup, drop-off and unload
  • Operate the vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, complying with regulatory requirements and CEVA policies
  • Ensure the safe handling and restraint of freight at all locations
  • Complete documentation relating to trips, such as pre-starts, work diary, delivery dockets and timesheets

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of CoR, including basic fatigue management, mass / dimensions, maintenance and load restraint, freight loading/unloading procedures
  • Good reliability, work ethic, communication skills and attention to detail
