About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to lead our DevOps team in creating, maintaining, and scaling Equiem's AWS infrastructure.

This is a global role that requires working across different time zones, and flexibility is essential as you navigate Australian, European, and US time zones.

You will be responsible for ensuring the security, availability, and resilience of our AWS hosting infrastructure, automating infrastructure, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to help our development teams move quickly.

The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of ownership and pride in their work, with a deep understanding of modern cloud architecture and web application development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the security, availability, and resilience of our AWS hosting infrastructure.
  • Automating infrastructure and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Coaching and mentoring other members of the development team on cloud best practices.
  • Partnering with our development team to build a great product.

Key requirements include:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience automating infrastructure in a cloud environment on Amazon Web Services.
  • Extensive experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, such as AWS CDK with TypeScript.
  • Strong experience developing and maintaining CI/CD tools, such as CircleCI.
  • Experience with programming languages, such as Node and TypeScript.
