About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Closure and Asset Transition Lead to join our team at Jacobs. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise in closure transition projects and advising our clients on transition strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with commercial, project management, and technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, and deliver closure and transition projects.
  • Manage the delivery of resources and energy generation infrastructure closure and transition projects, including assessing existing information and determining data gaps, options analysis, closure readiness, study management, and project scheduling.
  • Develop and maintain strong key client relationships, functioning as a trusted advisor to a select group of Jacobs' key clients across the new energy and resources sector.
  • Oversee the effective planning and execution of complex projects, providing superior project management and technical guidance to support others on such projects.
  • Provide informal leadership to the broader project and program delivery services performance unit, collaborating with other sections to help deliver successful project outcomes for our clients.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Demonstrated experience in closure and/or asset transition, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience working with or for key clients in the area of closure and asset transition.
  • Strong project management skills, honed from extensive background across key engineering and/or technical disciplines.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong key client relationships, functioning as a trusted advisor.
  • Capacity to oversee the effective planning and execution of complex projects.
