Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing automated test scripts to support fast and reliable validation of digital products and platforms.

This role contributes to the delivery of automated test coverage across web, APIs, and integration points within Agile delivery teams.

  • Automation Strategy & Delivery: Lead the development of scalable test automation frameworks across UI, API, and integration layers. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining automated test scripts for regression, smoke, and functional testing, and integrating them into CI pipelines to support fast, reliable deployments.
  • Mentoring & Stakeholder Engagement: Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior automation engineers, promoting best practices and high code quality. It also involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality automation scripting.
  • Defect Identification & Continuous Improvement: Support test execution, analysis of failures, and works closely with engineering teams to isolate and resolve defects. It also contributes to enhancing test coverage, execution efficiency, and reporting within the automation practice.
Job Requirements

Leading edge technology skills in software development and testing including programming languages like Python or Java are essential for this role. Good knowledge of Agile methodologies and version control systems such as Git is necessary. Automation experience is a must, preferably with tools like Selenium or Appium. In-depth understanding of software testing principles, data-driven testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline architecture is also required.
