Your Opportunity
Reporting to our Quality Assurance Manager, this role will allow you to make a significant impact, drive change, and quality. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and addressing product and process deficiencies, as well as reviewing customer feedback.
- Conducting root cause analysis to support customer concerns.
- Maintaining internal non-conformance (PCR) databases, business management systems, product and process control systems, and documentation requirements.
- Achieving KPI requirements related to customer and in-house quality assurance metrics, such as warranty claims management and cost improvement activities.
- Managing a structured product and process audit schedule.
- Coordinating ANPQP requirements associated with new product introduction and/or change management.
- Coaching, mentoring, and managing an Engineering Analyst who will report to you.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Materials Engineering, or Mechatronics, or equivalent.
- Quality/Process Engineering experience in Automotive Manufacturing.
- A high level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build strong working relationships within all areas of the organization, customers, and suppliers.
- Working knowledge of TS16949 certification requirements and a hands-on approach to process investigation and improvement.
- Ability to perform CMM measurements and interpret results.
