About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Australia Operations Finance. As a key member of our Fulfillment Network team, you will play a critical role in driving financial decision-making, budgeting, and performance optimization across our growing fulfillment network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial data and operational metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within individual fulfillment centers (FCs) as well as across the broader fulfillment network.
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models and forecasts to support FC budgeting, headcount planning, and capital expenditure decisions.
  • Collaborate with FC Controllers and Operations leaders to provide insightful financial reporting, variance analysis, and recommendations.
  • Support network-level strategic planning by assessing financial implications of network design, capacity changes, and other operational initiatives.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to evaluate the financial impact of new processes, technologies, or business models for FC operations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting, visibility, and decision support capabilities.

About the Team

Our team operates in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improvement. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work independently on complex projects, while also collaborating closely with our Australian FC Finance, ACEs, Maintenance, IT, and Operations teams.

Requirements

  • Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance or business tools and processes.
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
  • Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.
  • Experience working with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Intelligence, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance, or equivalent quantitative field.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence.
