**Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ORAT Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all operational planning and readiness requirements for facility and people-related functions are undertaken for all airport stakeholder-specific areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational plans, strategies, transition to opening plans, ORAT schedules, and go-live checklists.
• Oversee the overall transition of ownership of facilities to the relevant stakeholders, ensuring that facilities' operational requirements are documented, including training, resourcing, detailed facility Concept of Operations (CONOPS), and process flows are developed.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with the transition of new facilities into operational status.
• Establish and lead key stakeholder ORAT working groups to develop, document, and activate plans to be utilized with the new facilities.
• Promote the effective integration and implementation of facilities operation and maintenance requirements throughout the design phase.
• Review project construction timelines to assist with the coordination and tracking of the ORAT timeline and master construction program.
• Ensure development of training plans and programs for managing and integrating the new facilities with the other Airport facilities.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee the development and execution of validation trials and simulations based on construction/ORAT schedules.
• Report and track ORAT progress, develop and present presentations, identify ORAT and SME resources, seek to minimize disruption of current operations, and resolve issues.
• Lead ORAT post-implementation review to capture lessons learned and implement feedback mechanisms to ensure continuous improvement of ORAT processes and readiness activities.
• Provide input and participate in Project Control Group (PCG) meetings and other forums required.
• Work closely with the Communications Manager (Projects) to ensure internal and external stakeholders' communications are delivered in a consistent fashion to ensure AAL objectives and priorities are defined and delivered.

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in a business, project management, aviation, or engineering-related discipline or significant industry experience.
• Proven leadership qualities.
• Experience in managing large complex dynamic operations.
• Planning and strategic management experience in a large operational environment.
• Well-developed and effective oral and written communication skills.
• A good knowledge of standard office and business software applications.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• A strong team player.
• Superior problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational management skills.
• Demonstrated experience building relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience in the fields of airport operational management.
• An in-depth understanding of the airport/aviation industries.
