We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our dedicated maintenance team. The current Group Maintenance Manager is nearing retirement and will be available to provide a thorough handover and support to the successful applicant. This is a group role based at our main processing facility and supports our primary processing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement maintenance programs for all Almondco facilities.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of maintenance staff to deliver excellent service.
  • Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of equipment while maximizing production uptime.
  • Manage the maintenance budget, optimizing costs while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support production goals and address any maintenance-related issues.
  • Drive and model a safety-first leadership style.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements, integrating new technologies and best practices into the maintenance strategy.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in a leadership/management role, preferably within the food processing industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • In-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures, equipment, and safety regulations.

This role includes a company vehicle and mobile phone. Additionally, Almondco is building a new, purpose-built maintenance workshop, complete with modern offices and amenities.
