About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Operations Engineer to join our team at the AWS Facility Operations Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and supporting our global data center infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and investigate critical infrastructure alarms, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal downtime.
  • Monitor and analyze global facility infrastructure platforms to identify potential issues and implement proactive measures.
  • Perform change tasks and provide first-level troubleshooting for assigned tickets and alarms.
  • Collaborate with onsite technicians and other teams to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records and reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Project manage small scopes of work, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet deadlines and deliver results.

Requirements
  • University degree or TAFE technical degree/diploma in a relevant field.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • 2+ years' experience in working in an operations, control/operations center environment.
  • Experience with small to medium project work, dealing with ambiguity, and working in a fast-paced environment.
