Job Title: Guidance Specialist

This is a permanent full-time role that commences in the first term of 2025. The successful candidate will work closely with students, teachers and parents to provide guidance on career pathways.

  1. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Australian education system and labour market trends.
  2. Develop and implement career advice programs for students from Years 7-12.
  3. Work collaboratively with teaching staff to integrate career education into the curriculum.
  4. Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress and career aspirations.
  5. Provide individualised career counselling and support to students.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be highly organised and able to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Selection Criteria:

  1. Certified Guidance Practitioner (CGP) or equivalent qualification.
  2. Minimum 2 years experience in a careers advisory role.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Highly organised and able to work effectively in a team environment.
